i should try and keep my heart rate between 170-180 bpm when using the rowing machine.

This will ensure a good rate of cardio excercise without over exerting myself?

What i've been finding is that after about 10mins, i feel like crap and really don't want to go on. However, i've been told i should take a 10min rest, do some stretches, take on some water, and try and get on the rowing machine for about 20mins keeping my heart rate at 170-180?

Correct info, or complete rubbish?

thanks for the advice mate. Some more help on form would be greatly appreciated.
How many stroekes do you do a minute, or how much distance do you cover in 10mins?

I found my arms getting too tired, so have lessened the resistance of the rope right down.

Anyone any opinions on the heart rate stuff?
