Think Im building my son a rig for Christmas so might just try his chip and swap them if its better.

That's exactly what I was going to do

Think i'll wait till I can get a 3770k as from what I've seen they tend to overclock better than the 3570k.

Plus if I bought another 3570k and it turned out to be worse i'd cry ha
