As above, been offered a laptop with the following specs, for £400, is it worth a punt?
Intel Centrino processor 733 (1.1GHz ULV) combined with the Intel 915GMS chipset

12.1-inch WXGA (1280 x 768) Super Bright display

30GB hard drive

3hr 3-cell battery

Standard internal Intel PRO wireless 2200 802.11b/g and Dell Wireless Bluetooth 350

For the money I think it's about on the nose. Although I wouldn't buy it for that price.
Fortunately its not for me, the missus wants it. Last time she shelled out £500 on one and didn't even consult me - turned out to be a piece of rubbish.
