Knowing exactly how you got that, I would have gone for it too and cancelled my Acer Nitro order, but it was a very shortlived deal that disappeared quickly (well, the saving reduced significantly). Count yourself as one of the lucky ones!

This deals back on at the moment for a heads up.

This is going to be a bit random but it may help someone
A number of people with Lenovo laptops (we have the same spec as above) are seeing 2 minute plus load times for Windows Login.
If anyone has this it is Nvidia's latest driver. Download an older driver (537.58 definitely works) and this will fix the issue.

Add your input here if you have had the issue and the driver roll back works.

Have this now and put win 10 on it.

I've downloaded Lenovo vantage and geforce.

But I've tried playing Hogwarts on it last night for the first time and it runs terrible. Takes an age just for the cursor to move around.

Do I need to do anything to set this laptop up properly?

You say you put Win 10 on it so I assume you mean that you installed Windows yourself? Did you install all drivers including the nVidia GPU drivers?

Yes I did. Well I've got geforce up to date. Is that the same?
Sorry I haven't had an nvidia card in a long time. It sounds like it is. But someone else here can confirm. This looks like the link to download them though:

Make sure you have all motherboard drivers, AMD drivers, etc, as well as the nvidia driver.

Cheers. I'm sure the GPU is up to date. Geforce game ready driver 546.33
I'm sure Lenovo vantage app sorts the drivers out and that's all up to date.
Something obviously ain't right coz it's running like a bag of ****
