Hi, summarising another thread, I'd like to know if these will work ok together. Will the CPU and motherboard work out of the box or would I need to send the board off for a bios upgrade to work with the cpu.

I built a system recently with the mATX version of that board with the same cpu and it worked out of the box. I think the board I had shipped with Bios F4. So even though you supposedly need F5 or above it worked fine for me.
 
If needs be, Gigabyte Rep on here said they can flash if your unable to. Sure this board has Gigabytes Q flash - download Bios onto a pen drive and insert it into the back of the board to perform bios flash

The amount of boards this model has shipped, should be on more recent versions now
