is this mboard and cpu package any good?

hi im building a second attempt at a tower first attempt ended in tears brought a second hand package off ebay turned out to be faulty kept on shutting down.

anyway ive seen this pachage advertised thats pretty much my budget just wondered if there was anything better for the price here, would prefer to buy off here as im really greatfull for all the advice

is that board micro atx? as in small size

and what do you plan to do ect? gaming

hi there i plan using it for audio editing and maby have a look at gaming im pretty sure its a atx, not micro, (ive got a case that fits a atx board)

ok ill go for that then, the processor has a 3yr guarantee? how long is the mother board think they give the same dont they?

its atx full size and 1 year warranty on oem cpu's 3 year if it's boxed

cpu will be fine though I wouldn't worry

3 year warranty for motherboards

not sure what you mean, do you supply the board with the cpu fitted then 1yr warranty

or cpu in a box with fan then 3yr warranty (more money?)

yeah its more money for the boxed cpu(inc fan)

that cpu oem won't come with a fan,just the chip and 1 yr warranty

you still have to fit the cpu into the motherboard

you might aswell go for the boxed cpu its only a fiver more plus you get a fan and 3 year warranty

the fan will be useless for any overclocking though so worth bearing in mind

ok i see like the sound of the 3yr warranty, though not sure how you would know which one was faulty

i already have a water cooler, just one more thing will my power supply be ok with the mother board its a tx750w if you know that one?

yeah should be fine,might aswell go for the 3year warranty chip for peace of mind and the sake of £5
