Hi

I'm trying to workout what stepping etc my AMD 64 3000+ 939 is. If possible I'd like to work it out without having to put the cpu back in my computer. Below are the numbers and letters that are etched onto the CPU.

ADA3000DAA4BW
NBBWE 0611BAA
X044637C61772

From the research I've done scouring the net, my best guess is it is the same as whats in the image below.

Hopefully one of you kind souls could confirm if I am correct or not ?

Also from what I've read/seen it looks to be a very overclockable processor so thats an extra selling point when I put it on ebay :)

ok I understand what your saying. If I wrote it is very overclockable but that is dependent on their hardware, do you think that is ok ?

the 2nd picture I posted is pretty much the same cpu (looking at the details). I don't think its too much of a stretch just to say it has 'overclocking potential'. Its not as if I'm lying as all cpus I've ever read about can be overclocked (correct me if I'm wrong).

ok m8 thanks for the explanation, I think i'll just say that processors of this type are usually good for overclocking but I never tested this particular cpu.
