Am I missing something or is this an incredible deal?

Asus P5K Deluxe WiFi Intel P35: £58.74

Was going to wait for the P45 boards to start appearing, but at that price it seems crazy not too. It's to go with either a 7200 or an 8400 to clock and game.

Seems almost too good to be true! (I have no problems with buying b-grade, many a great system built with them!)

There's some cracking deals in the B Grade section atm. There was a few Gigabyte X38 DQ6 boards for £80 at the w-end. But they either sold out very quickly or they were removed for some reason (they aren't available in the normal motherboard section).

I'm looking at a P35 board for a folding rig and the B Grade Abit IP35 Pro's are looking very tasty.

Personally I'd take the IP35-Pro, simply because I already have one and I love it.

I like the attention to detail on the Abit board - the layout of the sata ports just screams planning rather than the usual accidental layout. And I can't help but worry that all the ornamentation around the socket on the Asus would get in the way of a decent cooler.

Anyone got the Asus care to defend it's honour before I plump for the Abit? (It's a bigger saving ;))

Apart from the cosmetics, is there any difference between them? (I don't need the wifi, so that's just a paperweight really)

Well the IP35-Pro is considered to be the best overclocking P35 board. And Abit have a really good support forum (tho it's not manned by Abit staff). They also have a Dutch RMA center that sells accessories (IO shields, BIOS chips etc) at a decent price.

The Deluxe was later replaced by the Premium due to the MOSFETs situated on the underside of the board getting way too hot, so the Premium ran cooler. Apart from that not much difference; it would also be another reason why I'd go for the Abit among others.

The only thing with B-Grade from here is that they don't list what you are going to recieve. It does'nt matter so much for graphics cards but i think they should list what you are getting with motherboards. Other retailers do this so why not here?
