Is this normal behaviour of a PSU?

Hi there,

So whenever I shut down, I can't turn my PC back on without first shutting down the and turning back on again the PSU (from the button on the PSU). Is this like a security measure built in into newer PSUs or is there something wrong? (it happened like this in two different houses).

Strange.. wonder why nobody replied. Could it be we have faulty PSUs? I mean I'm seeing artifacts on my GPU, I'm wondering if this is a PSU or GPU issue.

what psu's do you guys have? maybe its a faulty batch....but yeh i would tell overclockers in the customer service section and see what they say

They are both Corsair, but one is listed as CWT, and one Seasonic. Maybe Corsair has them building to a budget?

The replacement PSU works fine without this weird issue, so in case somebody gets the same problem with Crosair, you better write for them.
