Hey guys, so ive got my pc up and running and ive turned on msi kombustor to give my gtx 580's a whirl and what ive noticed is that both cards show up on the right hand side BUT for the first 8 seconds or so they have the same core/shader/memory speeds and then after this the 2nd gpu drops down a lot.

ive got some photos here as well if you could take a look for me and tell me if there is something im doing wrong :/

I do have them overclocked using msi afterburner and even double checked them with evga precision and they have both the gpu's at the same speeds.

If anyone could shed light on this, or in fact if this is normal for sli that would be great to know.

Thanks!

Gpu2 is downclocking to semi 2D clocks, if u go into the Nvidia control panel under Manage 3D settings and change the power management mode to prefer maximum performance it should fix it.
Edit: Also in Afterburner in settings under the general tab check the box for synchronize settings for similar graphics processors.
Btw 950 cores is pretty decent on 1.088v :)
