Is this normal - RM850i

Up until my current build every build I had with a Asus motherboard did the double boot thing. I always presumed that it was to do with the overclock as it didn't do it when not clocked. It's as if it was a case of, press start button, pc starts for a couple of seconds detects a overclock, shuts down to load settings and restart. It may even be some setting in the bios. Never really did find out what the actual cause was but once I got used to it happening didn't think anything more of it. It certainly never gave me any problems.

I would have the psu with the fan facing down so that it sucks air in from under the case and doesn't compete with the gpu for air.

My Gigabyte mobo does it too when overclocked. It doesn't happen without oc. New firmware fixed it and now doesn't happen with oc.

Sometimes mine will start but no display so i reset and then its fine.
It did this on my old monitor too so I've ruled that out. No change if i remove the overclock either.

I had the same issue with Asrock mobo. As far as I remember the fix for this was to start pc with PCI Express( Power on by PCIEX >> Enable) rather than with inbuilt graphics card

My new build of 2 weeks... ASUS board /Superflower PSU also does this...im not overclocking and everything is updated....looks like there is not an answer here so i'll search further.
Apart from this it runs perfect...was my 1st build and this is the only problem...if i can even call it that and if this is all the issues i have after some of the things i read about 1st time builds.....Im pretty sure i dodged a few bullets...:)
