Hey all,

So computer is apparently stable under intel burn test (i think I ran it about 60 times lol)

anyway when the pc is shut down and all the power drained. I go to turn it back on, it then starts up, fans spinning away. Then it powers off for a second then boots as if nothing happened... Is this normal?

Does this happen to be running on a gigabyte UD5?

Mine does the same and seems to be perfectly fine.

Just found this thread nice wee thread

reflux - The "semi-boot" that several of you are reporting is a self-test feature common on many enthusiast motherboards. It boots up for a couple of seconds to check things, and then if everything's OK, it begins the boot proper.

So this put my mind at rest. (its a blackops im running so this must be what is happening.)
