Is this normal...?

My worry obviously being the weird load allocation - core 2 on 95~% and the others on 30%.

This is with chrome and 8 or so tabs, Zune, RIFT (MMORPG like WOW) and file explorer etc open.

Hardware:
[email protected], 1.35v vcore according to HWMonitor and CPUz and OCCT.
Z68ap-d3
HyperX grey 8GB@1600mhz

Is this normal? Core 2 is taking a pounding! I would've thought the primary load core would be 0 but..

wel as long i guess as its not always up there regardless of the other cores mine tend to level out and spkie occasionally but i cant say for sure

It could simply be that one or more of the applications is not very well programs for multiple cores and it is using the resources of one core over another. Its nothing to worry about though

What happens if you load Prime95?

If I start prime on small FPU they all jump straight to 100%.

And yeah, It's pretty much like this all the time - I leave my account logged in when I'm not at my computer.

Perhaps the game just uses one core..?

i may be barkin up the wrong tree here but can you prioritze apps to use what coes u want then try that ???? or am i way of the mark ?

just noticed my core 2 is fluctuating a lot more than others, is it something to worry about?
