mostly for web browse/e-mail/skype/maybe for documents typing...

music, photo veiwing whilst on the net, emailing etc will be fine, and cant see a problem watching movies.

hd/blu-ray might be a problem with the 900Mhz cpu and built in graphics

It'll be fine for looking at snaps and watching films. I wouldnt go opening up photoshop on that though.

photoshop works great on my eee 901, although that has got the 1.66Ghz atom CPU and I upgraded the RAM to 2gb, Plays HD video ok as well.

from my experience, these netbooks continue to suprise you with what they are actually capable of.

i would advise a 901, battery life on the 900's is quite poor, but almost double on a 901 with some more added features

its not a bad spec system for the price, i was tempted to buy a similar system a few months back but i just did'nt think that i could get used to the size of them, they're only about 7".

don't get NC10, it's soon ot be replaced by NC20. more upto date that way

The NC20 is not a replacement for NC10 it's just a slighter bigger alternative.
