I have just built a system using a p182 case but have removed the lewr fan so there is room for the wires from my psu, my seagate hdd is in the lower front bay.
Will this be ok without the lower fan to draw air accross the hdd?

Mine couldn't cope without that fan being there, although they were Maxtors and fail to run higher than 45c without blue screening the computer. Also I think that fan pulls away and not blowing over the hard drives. You might be okay, just try it out and check the hard drive temps with a program like HD Tune to make sure the temperatures are acceptable.
