Ok, Because you are a member in the supra society I will trust that you are
a honest bloke.

So I will buy your car unseen.

I will transfer 2000 £ to your account and you will put all papers in the
car I will import the car in my brother in law´s name but money will come
from me wired to your account.

Then I want you to drive to immingham dock and turn the car and keys over to
DFDS Tor-line personel.

I will pick the car up in Gothenburg.

You keep the v5c until I got the car, I pay the rest 1000£ and mail you a
receipt for you to sign and you send receipt and v5c by mail to me when you
have received the full amount. I send your plates back when I got documents
so you can unregister the car in UK.

The car is impossible to register without receipt and v5c document so in
this way we both are safe to not be tricked.

Is this ok with you?

Hand the car over at some docks, this is the sort of stuff that films are made of so you can't really go wrong.

/Facepalm.

Non-registered cars often get transported, it doesn't need the plates to go anywhere... only the VIN is required for documentation.

Thanks for the replies, but seriously is this legit? Don't i still own the car if i have the V5C?

You really think it matters who owns a car when it is in a different country in the hands of professional criminals?

I wouldn't sell it like this but IMO it isn't a scam, he's selling a relatively rare car to Europe, the buyer is taking advantage of the weak £.
