Is this pc good enough for HD DVD playback?

As title

Specs

AMD x2 3800+ stock
2gb ocz ram
multiple hdds
256mb ATI Radeon 2600pro
Vista 32bit

Graphics card connected to Sony STR 1200Es amp and then to a 37" LG HDTV.

I'm guessing i need somethien like powerdvd for this shiz.

I'd think you should be ok. My 3000+ was just not quite enough for smooth playback, so you should be fine.

I've just realised that the toshiba hd drive is black and i need silver

Well thats good to hear when the come out with silver versions of that drive

although a blanking plate is tempting...
