Is that still a decent pc for its price?? I was looking at making my own but if this is a good deal then i will get it

yes however I would get rid of the physics card, becasue Nvida does not support them no longer, and get some 8800, 9800 GTS250 and they have physics on them as well so your not losing nothing

He said thats too low for him, He also is getting rid of his other pc which is also xps...

Specs
Intel Core 2 Extreme X6500 @ 2.93 GHz
Memory - 4 GB (4 X 1GB)
Storage - 1TB (2 X 500GB X SATA).
Optical - Dvd +/- RW.
Graphics card - Nvidia Geforce 7950GX2 DVI
PSU - 375Watts.
Sound - Sound Blaster X-Fi.
That is £475

i use the QX6700 cpu in my setup still very fast got mine clocked at 3.5 ghz on a P5K mobo, running with a 260GTX graphics plays all games at high settings and is pretty quick at video work also..

They're not bad machines, little out of date - would need new gfx cards, but what he's asking is way too high. Might get that on ebay but they're not worth it if you have any idea what you're talking about. Take £100 of the price perhaps.

yeah get a new gfx card for it and maybe double up the ram and you'll have a system that can run everything thats thrown at it at high settings for a good few years i reckon.

I would say more near 300 since that graphics card is kinda below par now. Offer 300 and then get a second hand 4870 and you got a nice spec :)

+1, if you're into modern gaming then you'll be buying a rig with sub-par 7900GSs and a redundant PhysX card for £400...

Suggestion as in above post.
