I was recently given a pc with i think was damaged by a power surge, but im not sure
I psu was dead so i replaced it. I turned it on, the motherboard has power but i cant get anything on the monitor - i tried 2 fx cards and the onboard fx.
I removed the ram and turned it on - no beeps, does this mean that the memory slots are knackered or could there be another reason like the cpu?
