Is this possible for my Xbox 360 Elite

Ok, so i have just got myself a second hand of the above.
I also have at home an old GAMEPORT connection type (yes ancient), MS sidewinder force feedback racing wheel and pedals.
I was wondering, would it be possible to say maybe use one of these Gameport to USB conversion adapters and then use it on the xbox at all?

I really am a newbie at console gaming, so excuse the simple question.
I would be open to other suggestions on how best to use the wheels n pedal that i have.

Unfortunately mate, it's extremely unlikely. MS are quite fussy about what peripherals are allowed to work with the 360 and even regular USB PC controllers don't work with it so you'll have to splash out on a new wheel.
