No that will work fine, i had my 8800GTX plus an 8600GTS for physx on my P35 board.
However using the 8600 for physx was a bit slow and it was quicker to let the m,ain card do it but in your case the GTX will be great for physx
So is this Phys X stuff worth the effort then?
I recently downloaded some stuff that was meant to enable it for UT3, im a bit of a noob but wasn't sure that it made any difference.
I also downloaded a few demo's including "The Great Kulu" or something and wasnt sure if it was working?
I downloaded modded maps etc for UT3 but think I may have missed something?
I only have a single 8800GTX.
I don't think single 8800GTX cards don't have proper physics support. The GTX260 etc. range has onboard Physx accelerator IIRC

Nope thats incorrect, all G80 (and greater) cards with 256mb can be used for Physx. Even a 8400gs!

On their own the G80 (8800GTX etc.) series don't actually have proper Physx support do they?
