Is this possible ( or adviceable )

Hi all, I currently have a PC that is NOT wireless & I'm happy the way it is so I dont want to change that, but I want to buy my wife a laptop so she can use the internet.
What I want to do is buy a router & leave my PC connected via cable & at the same time have the laptop wireless, is this possible ?
And also what router would you recomend for a house ?

Yes t is possible you will need a Wireless router which will have wireless and wired access.

As above - the Router will be on 24-7 (not required but usually the case) and so either the wired or wireless computer can connect at any time.

Your existing PC can still connect via cable, whilst the laptop can connect wirelessly.

I think most wireless routers have some wired connection points these days.
