Hi All,
Looking for some help with my monitor - I've noticed a huge mark today that runs almost entirely down one vertical side of the screen, and then curves off slightly at the top. It feels as though this has appeared all of a sudden because it's just SO visible and obvious that I can't imagine it being there for long without me ever noticing it before now. On a very bright/white screen or a very dark/black screen you literally cannot pick it out at all, but on other mid-tone screens, particularly blue, it's just ridiculously obvious.
I've attached a picture, but it doesn't pick it up particularly well, in reality it's much more pronounced - like someone has taken a similar colour marker and just drawn a line down the screen. I've also noticed that it actually flickers at random intermittent points. Not constantly, but just every so often it will go slightly darker or something for like a frame

Any idea what might have caused this or how I might go about fixing it? It looks like a perfectly straight line in the photo, but in reality it isn't, it's uneven in thickness and almost squiggly, again like somebody has free-handed it (beginning to think this is what has actually happened, haha)
