Right...

In room 1 I have currently got a Netgear Router which is my wireless network point with it built in Broadband Modem. It is in the Spare bedroom as that where the Phone Point is.

So in the office my computer is connecting to the router wireless aswell as my Mac Book Pro.

What I want to do is......

In the office I want to be able to have a External HD and Printer to be on the network so I can print and save files while I am on the Mac book downstairs or where ever I am.

What is the best way to do this?

I though about buying a Apple Airport Extreme to put in the office with a usb hub so i can put in a printer and HD. This so i can access my external hard drive and print through wireless on my Mac Book. But what about Internet??? Can I get it to pick up the interenet connect through wireless off the netgear in spare room? I was told it would have to be hard wired?

I want to be able to set it all up easily really any helps and tips be great

Cheers

What you should do IMO is get a network attached storage drive, OcUK has loads of caddies i.e. icybox but u will need to buy a hard drive along with this or they come complete, these hook up to ** network so you would attach it to ** wireless router and then it would be a network drive accessable by all on the network, as with the print server, these too can be bought from OcUK either LAN or wireless,

or if you want both in one

this enclosure has both NAS and Print server as well as loads of other features (but u need the HDD bought seperately again).
