Is this possible with an intruder alarm?

Can I set an alarm system up in such a way that different zones are armed or disarmed by a proximity tag? For example;

Zone 1 - reception - 1 PIR
Zone 2 - ground floor office - 1 PIR
Zone 3 - first floor office - 1 PIR

Proximity tag group 1 - arm/disarm all zones
Proximity tag group 2 - arm/disarm zone 1 and zone 2 only.

The front door could have a door contact too which I presume just goes on it’s own zone?

Zone numbers can be changed, just used 1 - 3 for illustration purposes.

If the above is possible what is the best system to buy? I’ve seen the Texecom Premier Elite mentioned quite a lot on here as being a good option?

Any other considerations I’ve not thought of?

Thanks.

Although I don't know for certain about the tags.
However in my old house the alarm had different "user codes" so I could have a code and my wife had a different one to set/unset & it gave the option of zones to set and u set by code.

So 1234 would set all zones, 2345 would set just downstairs and 3456 would set all zones excluding PIR (pet mode it was called)

So I would suspect that it is possible, just needs the right equipment.

Tags would be easier but different codes would still work thanks.

This is how our work alarm works. Couldn't tell you any more than that though

Thanks, least I know it’s feasible so will find some manuals to have a read!

On the Texecom you can assign zones to areas and areas to users. No reason why you can't then assign a tag to a different user to do what you need to do.

Alternatively, you could add a part set program. You'd present the tag to the control panel, press PART and then YES on whichever program you have set up. This would omit whichever zones you'd selected in the program.

You could also present the tag and press YES at the prompt to fully arm all zones.
