hi my sister just bought a vga to component cable but it doesnt show a picture on her tv, is there anyway to get it working, her tv doesnt have vga and her laptop doesnt have dvi

Try 800x600.

got no more to try it with, i tried connecting to my tv but it came up with "mode not supported"
