I have no experience with Macs whatsoever so I'm hoping perhaps you lot can suggest something.

Problem: I'm contemplating getting an Air which only has a 128GB SD. My music collection alone however is about 150GB and having to carry a hard drive everywhere beats the point of getting the Air for portability in the first place!

If I were to buy a Time Capsule or an external hard drive for regular backup, is there anyway I could throw all the music on to there and access it over wireless from the Air? Or is there another solution I'm missing?

If it's going to be complicated I may abandon the idea and get a MBP, but I honestly have no need for extra power/graphics as I don't really do much more than work, internet and music.

I have my music and Tv shows on my Time Capsule as I only have a 64GB SSD.

If you are considering an Air can you live with only one USB port ? Can get annoying quickly only having one. Glass track pad is also nicer to use on pros.

I'm not fully convinced either way yet without having another look at the two. I'd just like to know that there's a solution to my problem should I chose the Air so thanks

To be honest I'd go for a 13" MBP rather than the MBA unless you absolutely must have total portability - the glass trackpad is amazing and makes the standard ones feel awful in comparison.
