the ethernet port on my motherboard has broken so i havnt got internet on my PC, im using my mums laptop atm and was wondering if i was able to use the wireless laptop as a wireless adaptor for my desktop pc.
 
No its not possible as your ethernet port is broken. But you can get a pci ethernet card or a usb wireless one for your motherboard
 
Probably with some clever programming. Not sure you'll have much luck finding anything though.

Ethernet cards are £10 max, just order one & use the laptop until it arrives.

Who says you need a Ethernet port :p
 
For all the hasstle involved for heavens sake just buy a PCI Ethernet adaptor! They can be had for buttons
