When surfing a webpage on iPhone, if there's a phone number, you can press it and it'll dial it for you.

Is there a way of doing a link on a webpage so it sets up a text message with the number and content completed?

IIRC sms:xyz is a valid prefix just like mailto:xyz is for email. No idea if the iPhone (or anything else) supports it.

Thanks wush, sms://012345677890?body=Content seems to work fine on every phone I've tried except the iphone! Hmm, I can get it to set the number just not the content, which is annoying!
