I have a few spare 120mm fans (one nzxt rifle bearing and 3 F12's), is it possible to attach a second fan to the rear of my AC Freezer Pro 13?

Any suggestions on how I would go about attaching one to the rear of that? I'd prefer a clean look if possible.

I have one slight concern, IF there is a way to fit it, would the different RPM's of the two fans have a negative effect on cooling?

I don't have any cooling issues, to be fair I'm just board, I want to tweak things more and as I have spare fans...why not :D

I once fixed a second 120mm fan to a Titan Fenrir with cable ties! But if you want a nicer look, you will have to do some modding, like cutting a grove in the aluminium fins of the heatsink and attaching the fan with 2 fan clips you can buy from most places.

What would be the best way to go about putting groves in the fins? I'd rather something that didn't involve removing the heatsink. How sturdy are the average heatsink fins? I was thinking it may be possible to run a long 3mm (clearance needs to be checked) bolt all the way through the heatsink with some nylon washers at either end and let the fins take the load?

If you are going to be cutting groves into the fins, take it out first, you dont want metal shards all over your motherboard!!!!
