Hi guys. In my computer I have 3 12" cathode and 2 5" cathode lights, which are set up to show the case off with out it being so bright (how I've placed them means it isn't overpowering seen in the picture below) also ignore the cable management for now :P

What I'm wondering is, if I use something like thin speaker wire (or anything thin and conductive) so I can actually manage the wires better (at the moment all the big blocks and switchs for the lights are stashed in the empty bays using up tons of space due to limitations. Could I then connect them to a fan control device to change the brightness of the lights too? As it just limits how much power each fan (or would be light) would get?

I hope I've made sense because I'm really ill :(

you could always try it with a cheap fanmate first or if you have a controller spare, I dont see why it wouldnt work as I had a pc built for me years ago with all the bling using your theory and it worked.
