I have 2 x BFG 8800, on a Evga 680,would a BFG Ageia PhysX Accelerator fit on and would it improve on what is awesome already to being trully the best graphics money can buy?

No point in purchasing a PPU at the moment in my opinion. Very few games support it and I have heard that it doesn't even perform very well.

Can't see dedicated Physics Processors becoming a big thing really because the graphic card giants area already working on hardware accelerated physics via the GPU. What's even more likely to happen is that that main system multicore processors step up from 2-4-8-16 etc and physics get given dedicated cores via multithreading (already happens on PS3 games)

Doesn't the G80 have on board physics? To be reveled at a later date? Thought it did?

NVIDIA Quantum Effects™ Technology
Advanced shader processors architected for physics computation deliver amazing performance and visual effects such as smoke, fire, and explosions.

6 weeks time, R600.

If R600 doesn't beat G80 in everything (Not huge amounts, but by 1% :p) then ATi needs a kick up the backside :D

I agree. I'll be one doing the kicking by buying the 8800GTX.

better be true in 6 weeks time ati will come out up dx10 card, if it performs much better than 8800gtx, i will sell my sli 8800gtx and buy crossfire ati dx10
