Is this price justified for a service stamp?

My Bonnevilles coming up for it's year service. I phoned up Triumph earlier and asked how much it'd be, and what they'd check.

For £155 the service includes:
General check for early signs of problems, safety etc
Plug into diagnostics to check ECU is okay
Change oil and filter

Is it me or is that quite expensive?

The main reason I'd like it serviced is for the stamp incase I sell it in the future. I can tell you I'm not going to, but you never know. I've been told no service history drastically reduces the price. But at £155 a time over 3-5 years, I'd be spending what I'd lose anyway??

I know how to change the oil/filters myself so it'd cost me about £40 altogether. It'd just be the diagnostic and general safety check I'd missing out on.

Worth it?

Cheers.
