Are they any good? Not looking to spend to much but want something better than what you normally get with a case

BeQuiet are a very good PSU manufacturer, it also has 80plus certification (more efficient), and that extra 30watts may possibly come in handy in the future, but if you are really saving money, the Coolermaster will be fine if you're sure it is powerful enough for your system.

I dont do any gaming, have a bog standard set up with 2 hdd, a TV card and a dv capture card

well its definitely a better psu, but perhaps a simple Corsair CX430 will suffice.
