Is this PSU going to be enough for my configuration?

850W be quiet! Pure Power 12 M (BN344) ATX 3.0

I'm planning to use it with:

- i7 13700k
- 64GB RAM
- RX 6950XT
- 1 SSD
- 1 HDD
- Noctua NHD15
- Corsaid 5000D case with default fan config

Am I safe with 850W or should I consider a 1000W PSU?

Thank you!

If you already have the PSU, then I'd give it a go. ATX 3.0 PSUs are supposed to be able to handle the spikes of modern cards.

It looks like a 12v split rail design with 36 and 40amps which should be plenty as long the loads are balanced. CPU power 12v1 and GPU power from 12v2

Should be fine.
Even with spikes, I had no issues with a 750W EVGA PSU and the infamous 3090.
The true is that while my 750W was ok with spikes, some 850W won’t.
I would give it a try. The worst scenario will get random crashes. Is not like it is a rubbish PSU which will take the whole system down with it.

I moved my 750W into my second PC and bought a Corsair RMx1000 for my 6950XT gaming PC. Seemed to make sense to have a little extra capacity.
