i think im about ready to order but iv had some say my psu is fine and others say its not so still hesitant to go for the above

Thats quite good going

A lot of people over estimate amount of power there system actually uses.

Great buy

to show people who buy 1200w PSUs that most of the time they dont use even half. Except people with like quad sli/crossfire, watercooling etc...

That will run perfectly, I use a i7 4770k Oc to 4.3 and a sapphire Tri-x R9 290 OC, and corsair H80i, Iv also got SSD and HDD, 16 GB rams, mines a super flower 650W, so I'm sure your 550W will run ok for u
