So I've upgraded the gfx to a 4090 and the cpu to a 5800x3d.
One last thing before I'm done is the ram and this is an area where I lack the knowledge.
When I swapped to ddr4 many years ago I got what I could afford and didn't really understand the speeds etc, I have 64gb of this trident now I'm happy to keep it unless there is something out there that will yield me a faster machine, but I don't know.
