Is this RAM compatible with my PC?

I want to get "HyperX 8 GB 1600 MHz CL9 DDR3 HyperX Beast" but wondering if my motherboard supports it?

My motherboard is P8H67-M and I am running a 64-bit version of Windows 8.1.

However, someone said that this RAM may not be compatible with my motherboard as mine is "Memory Standard DDR3 1333/1066".

yes it should work but it will clock down in speed to the max supported by the board (& cpu)


if you want ram rated at the exact speed your board supports then go for stuff in the pc-10666 section which is dual channel
