Picked out this GeIL Black Dragon 16gb ram for a new build.

Would anyone recommend anything better for roughly same price?

CPU - i5 4670k
Motherboard - Gigabyte G1.Sniper Z87 Intel Z87

Thanks everyone from all threads. I am a long time lurker of these forums and have learned so much.

do you mean 2133 is best for Haswell or 2400?
sorry for my lack of understanding.

2133mhz minimum. The faster the better for haswell, but obviously board and ram type play a lot in how high you can actually achieve. :D
That's not saying lower frequencies don't work , they do but it's clear how we'll haswell reacts to faster mem.

Hi 8 Pack would you be able to help with setting my ram for my Gigabyte Z87X-SLI-4670k @stock

Im using Team Group Vulcan Orange rated @ 2400 but its currently running 1333. Ive tried to enable xmp but still shows as 665 in cpuz. Could i manually set these?
