Very nice, but not worth it these days.

Just a warning before a mod deletes this/suspends you/bans you you might wanna get rid of the link and just put something like "on a famous auction site I've seen a mobile 754, is this real?" to keep everyone happy

I've seen plenty of links to the bay in GD threads - is it classed as a competitor or is it specifically links to stuff OcUK sells that are forbidden?

i think its a competitor as they sell almost evrything on ebay

Yeah but those newark mobile 4000+ do clock really well a worthwhile purchase for any1 without serious dollar too upgrade.

Low volts, 1mb cache @ 2.6 should be a good little clocker on the dfi ut250

A word of warning on that Newark though. It is very picky with motherboards. I mean Very picky!!

Andyp on here had one and he could'nt get it to work. Saying that there are a couple of people on here that did get theirs to work but like i said, it is very picky.

Thanks for the warning i've seen many links to that site so thought it was allowed, changed it anyway.

what motherboard would you recommend at not to high a price.
don't really want to go pci-express yet would rather wait for dx10 cards and vista and my 6800gt plays all my games pretty well for now. I've added a aritc cooler freezer 64 pro so cooling shouldn't be a problem.

Asrock Dual socket939 SATA 2,

good overclocker, comes with AGP and PCI-E, has SATA2, 7.1 sound, support for socket AM2 and DDR2 via an expantion card. you cant go wrong with it as its a perfect board for someone looking for an easy cost effective upgrade path.

Interesting! Haven't seen RAM on expansion cards since the early 90s!:D Won't it affect the bandwidth of that RAM negatively though?

I think the DFI LanParty UT nF3 250Gb will take it but i can't be sure. You really need the couple of people who have had the Newark working to come in here and advise you on the mobo's.

The MSI K8N Neo Platinum will take mobile cpu's including the Turions but i am once again, not sure of the Newark.

I have a 3400 DTR Clawhammer on my UT nF3 250Gb.

When it first booted, it did so at 800MHz / 1.0V.

You just go into BIOS, crank it up, and reboot.
