As title really, is there any point in me looking for someone to repair the scuffs or do I need to replace the bench?

Marks where there when I bought the car, I assume it's from a baby seat or something given it's just on one rear seat.

I think a repairer could probably make it look a lot better if not invisible. The reason you can see it is the scuff is revealing less dyed leather underneath. There are people who can re-dye leather, by painting dye on. If you watch Wheeler Dealers there are episodes where they re-dye leather, one was the BMW Z3 episode, but you don't get the name of the company, but the companies exist.

get a gliptone colour matched kit. you dab on very thin layers with a sponge to keep the texture and it will look 100 times better.

Or put the money towards an M3 interior but likely any 2nd hand one will have some marks from storage / removal and wear unless you can get one still in the car and remove yourself. So you might end up with similar issues
