ha ha yeah... i can't understand that really.. i turned it on and it said my idle was 31c.. then i did it again before and it said my idle was 36c... maybe tat is wrong...

This is the max temprature the CPU can take before it "throttles". Its defined by Intel... so you certainly don't want your temps getting that high!

i am getting about 50c in orthos at about 2.4Ghz..

do you think my c2d is just a hot chip ?
