Just signing up for this new game called 'kingdom of amalur: reckoning' and they want to link to my EA/origin account, should I do it?

Yes its safe. 38 Studios is the developer - EA the publisher. To play the game u need to reg it on Origin.

just trying the demo for now, still downloading but I thought I would register while I wait.
