Is this secondhand wireless bundle ok for the money?

Or could I get better for £40 you reckon?

Going to be used on a 10mb Blueyonder conn. and allow connection to a desktop system (wired) and old Dell Latitude lappy without built in wireless.

Doesn't sound too bad a price.

The best thing is the WRT54G has several user made firmwares that add more options such as increasing wifi power etc..
