is this server ok

I'm not really clued up on server specs so would this spec of server be ok to run a sql database and have 5 clients attached to it using server 2003?

The server will only have a max of 5 clients attached and out of these only a max of 2 will ever be using SQL.

I was thinking of adding another 2GB of ram to it as well as 2 hard drives.

For £140 it is a good deal but we have no idea what the quality is like. Stick two raptors in there (RAID 1!) and you should be fine, at least on paper. Make sure that you buy ECC DDR and not the regular stuff.

I've gone for the acer and upgraded the memory to 3GB. I'll let you know how it goes!

Did you get the drive caddies? or the acer specific drives?

Neither. I got normal hard drives and made up something to fit them in.
