Looks at GFX...

And realises that the 520w will be more than capable? :)

The specification looks basically fine although I'd also suggest changing the cooler, since purchasing an aftermarket one anyway it might as well be one of the best few - Noctua NH-U12F or Tuniq Tower are at reasonable prices and very good.

ok thanks for the replies, I have a few more questions if i may

1) I thought the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro was a really good cooler?

2) Will I need to buy any additional fans for this case ?

3) Will this case be sufficient size for a) cooling and b) the sheer size of the 8800GTX ?

4) with this setup and the Q6600 with g0 stepping, what realistically will I be able to overclock the CPU to (without pushing it to the absolute edge)

many thanks

It is a really good cooler, for the price. But cooling an overclocked Q6600 will require something a bit more expensive. As above, the Noctua and Tuniq Tower are excellent choices, also hav a look at the Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme.

Additional fans won't be necessary, the Lian Li has plenty of cooling.

3) Will this case be sufficient size for a) cooling and b) the sheer size of the 8800GTX ?

Yes.

With one of the coolers suggested above, probably 3.2GHz - 3.4GHz.

many thanks
