is this ssd good?

My second HDD has died today and I am looking to get my first SSD (yeah, i know, i know ) to use use as an OS drive.

I am looking for a "reliable" good/decent SSD with max 250gb capacity.

I am looking at this:

Toshiba OCZ Trion 150 240GB 2.5" 7mm SATA III Internal Solid State Drive TRN150-25SAT3-240G

Is there any cheaper but better drive than the above? I am currently in US btw!

Seems fine to me, does everything you expect of an SSD.

Yeah it's a good drive. TBH it would be impossible to tell one ssd from another without benchmarks, in the real world they are all so quick.

That price though. Stick a couple in your pockets for when you get back.

Got the drive i mentioned above and also bought Windows 10 Pro... the combo has brought my computer back to life!

I think OCZ are owned by Toshiba now, so could be worse but I'd opt for a Samsung, Crucial, Kingston or Corsair over an OCZ one.

This a million percent, if you have a slightly aged laptop a SSD can make it feel brand new.

As mentioned Samsung are good but I don't think any are bad to be honest, OCZ used to have a bad rep but I've got 2 Agility's and both are still fine, must've been lucky I guess.
