Is this strange or ok

Right iv installed a Q9400 and just using prime95 to see if its ok.
The temps are fine its not come up with any of the cores failing but
core 1 and 2 are doing 11 tests and core 3 and 4 are only doing 10 :confused:

IMO Prime is a waste of time these days...

I run up OCCT 1hour test to get a feel for whats stable then use ~2-3 hours OCCT and intel burn test to check for final stability - I've had overclocks fail in less than 20 passes of IBT (about 5 minutes of testing) that have been 8+ hour stable in prime.

That's fine, don't worry about it

Believe prime runs as a low priority process

Obviously those cores have been occupied also by other work (like running OS/background software processes) and are behind in "priming".
