Is this suitable to use as a Plex server?

Hey guys,

I'm looking for a device I can have running all the time with my media streaming through Plex. Currently I've got to have my PC running in order to access it off other devices.

A friend showed me the ASUS EeeBox, seems to have a decent spec especially at the cost?

Only issue would be having large HDD's, I'm not too sure how I would go about using them as the internal drive only supports up to 500GB.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yeah I'd be using this to access storage attached to the machine and be made available for other devices around the house. I'd be streaming to Apple TV, iPads etc.

Files are typically .mp4 and consecutive users wouldn't be mroe than 2/3 at any one time.

What sort of cost am I looking at to build an i3 machine that will support Plex?
