I'm looking to order the parts for a new system, generally I build a new one every 3 years for myself (I know that's a long time).

This is generally to get me back into gaming (fallout 3, cod 4 + 5 etc) but also for my wifes photoshop work (wedding photography).

I already have a spare 300gb sata drive to add as extra storage, and did toy with getting 2 x 320gb drives to raid 0 but went for the cheaper option. would like it to be in the £600-£700 area.

Also thought about a quad core, but decided to go for clock speed with the simple games I like, also looked at the 4870 but can't justify the price, could add another 4850 to this later when prices come down.

thoughts? is there anything I'm missing?

btw, I know it's not nice to say this, but come on, the prices of some of those bits??? I could save another £50 or more getting some of those parts elsewhere.

Looks ok, you've not got an optical drive included, you just going to use your old one?
If you're thinking of maybe adding another gfx card later, you'd prob better going for an X48 board, but they cost more, in the region of £60 more, which if you could fork out the extra you'd be better investing it in the 4870 and not worrying about the x-fire

I would advise the E7300 and overclock it to 3 from 2.66Ghz. It's and easy overclock and will save ££££££££
